Karina, originally from Colombia, and has lived in places such as Boston and New York. After traveling much of the world and experiencing many different cultures she has called Portland home for the past six years. Karina loves to explore the wonderful attributes of this unique city; from it parks, restaurants and music, to each special neighborhood.
With a background in social services, Karina has always been involved with helping people in her community. Being involved and communicating is important to her everyday activities. Karina brings this philosophy and resource to her closing coordinator position and the team. Her excellent listening skills and guidance is used to make each transaction smooth and thorough. Currently she is studying at Portland State University, School of Social Work for her master’s degree.
In her spare time Karina enjoys her Tama Rock Star drums, reading, independent films, dance, camping, and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
